Privacy policy

Unemploy is an independent third-party administrator run by Isaiah Kim. Its AI agents audit employers’ state unemployment benefit-charge statements and draft protests, which the employer approves before anything is filed. This policy describes what information we handle and how, plainly, the way we write everything else.

Analytics, and what we do not run

This site runs anonymous product analytics (PostHog): page views and clicks, so we can see which pages get read. Form inputs are masked, and no profile is built for a visitor who never identifies themselves. There are no advertising trackers and nothing here is sold or shared with an ad network. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operations; we do not use them to identify visitors.

What we collect, and when

Correspondence. If you send the form on this site, we receive your company, the states you named, your role, your email address and whatever else you write. We use it to reply, to run the audit you asked for, and to carry out an engagement, and nothing else.

Statements and separation records. A charge audit is run on documents you send us: your quarterly benefit-charge statements and a list of separations. Those documents name former employees. The agents use them only to match charge lines, score them against the state’s relief grounds, and prepare protests for your approval. We never contact, advise, or profile a claimant, and we never use those records for anything else.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing. We do not send drip campaigns or add you to lists. Information is shared only with the service providers that make the practice run (email and hosting), and only as needed to operate.

Retention and your choices

Correspondence, statements and findings reports are kept as ordinary business records for as long as an engagement requires and no longer. Write to us at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will do so promptly unless a record must be kept as proof of a filing already made.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. This site is not directed at children. Unemploy is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any state unemployment agency or the U.S. Department of Labor.
