What it costs

One price for all of it. The audit is free.

Unemploy is priced per employee per year. AI agents answer every claim, protest every wrong charge and prep every hearing, and all of it sits under that one figure.

You are billed on headcount, once a year, whatever your claim volume turns out to be. There is no per-claim fee, so a quarter with heavy turnover costs you the same as a quiet one.

Why it is a headcount price and not a fee per claim

A fee per claim is what a services firm charges, because a services firm pays a person to work each claim. Equifax describes its unemployment operation as a “Dedicated Operations Team of around 500 individuals” and prices accordingly. Unemploy runs that work with AI agents. Intake, the deadline clock, the manager questions, the chasing and the drafting are each an agent, so your tenth claim in a week costs the same to serve as your first.

A quarter with heavy turnover is the quarter you most need this, and it is the quarter a per-claim fee charges you most for. Headcount is the one number that does not move with the thing you are buying protection against.

The audit, and why we do not charge for it

Send the last four quarterly benefit-charge statements and a terminations export. You get back every line matched to a separation, scored against your state’s own relief grounds, and marked protest or correct. You keep that report whether or not you hire us. The ledger shows what the reconciliation looks like line by line, and the report is the document itself.

We do not charge for it because it is the only way to show you the size of the leak on your own account. Your statements are the only place that number exists, and the audit reads them.
